The reviewer describes the Tortuga Packing Cubes as having a tall profile that uses vertical luggage space effectively for bulkier clothing. The Tortuga Packing Cubes use a rugged X-Pac shell, sturdy mesh panels, and smooth YKK zippers, according to the reviewer. The structured mesh window lets travelers identify packed contents quickly while retaining its shape instead of becoming loose or flimsy.
In testing, the small Tortuga cube held underwear and socks with space remaining after the reviewer closed it. The reviewer packed shorts, pants, shirts, and a jacket into the large cube, then found room remaining after closure.
