The reviewer reported that the Rider slings' metal zippers would not help in rain and could scratch gear without care. The Easy Rider and Lightning Rider accept Wotancraft's padded Quick-Draw inserts, which the reviewer used for a mirrorless body and two lenses. Wotancraft provides hook-backed modular pouches across the Rider collection and camera inserts, including sleeves, zippered pouches, and elastic organizers.
The reviewer found the Rider slings' compact profile allowed easier airflow against the back despite lacking a vented back panel. The reviewer considered the shared padded shoulder strap somewhat overbuilt for the Mini Rider, preferring a smaller strap for that bag.
