Organization is a central strength in Fry’s account. He describes a front admin area for small essentials, a separate top pocket with a key leash, and stretch bottle sleeves that can also carry items such as a tripod. The padded, suspended laptop compartment reportedly held a 14-inch MacBook Pro alongside an iPad Pro. Fry also valued the bag’s practical mix of compartments and open space.
The reported compromises emerge with demanding carries and security-sensitive travel. The straps were comfortable for ordinary daily use, but heavier, longer outings produced pressure points at the shoulders. Check: the main compartment lacks the lockable-zipper option Fry wanted. The source’s 3.6-pound figure also matters for anyone prioritizing an ultralight pack.
