The carry concept shifts some storage forward, giving Lee easier access to frequently used items while supporting an upright posture. Reported equipment includes side tool quivers, a rear rope-access opening that can also serve as a hydration port, a slim load profile, and detachable front pockets that can function as a basic daypack. Lee also reported no bruising or sore spots after five trail days.
The compromises are practical. Carryology says fitting is nontrivial and recommends time with a trained retailer; the many adjustments may require videos or reference material. Donning and removing the system takes more effort, particularly in transit. The front-pocket arrangement may also attract unwanted attention, while the reviewed color offered little choice.
