During the reviewer’s month of testing, the sternum strap sometimes loosened on its own despite using thick webbing. The reviewer says the side handle makes the City Pack easier to manage when carried off the back. The City Pack provides an exterior bottle pocket, a front pocket, and a plush-lined top pocket for small technology or sunglasses.

The reviewer stored phone, tablet, and laptop chargers together in one organized section, keeping those accessories easy to access. Because of the side bottle pocket, the main zipper ends sit asymmetrically, causing the front panel to fold down at an angle.

Reported strengths

  • The Aer City Pack uses ballistic Cordura fabric and a coated center zipper while packing thoughtfully arranged features into its compact format.
