The laptop occupies the main pocket because the space normally used for a separate laptop compartment stores the hidden backpack straps. The top quick-access pocket conveniently holds a phone, wallet, passport, or other small items needed before airport security. The laptop pocket's back provides substantial protection, although its thin interior mesh may encourage using a separate laptop case.
The reviewer reports that the Flight Pack supports backpack, briefcase, and shoulder-bag carrying configurations. An opening in the back panel lets travelers slide the pack over a rolling suitcase handle for easier airport movement.
