The wing compartments have deep, narrow internal pockets, making small objects such as lip balm difficult to retrieve. With ten pounds packed inside, the reviewer finds the Pathfinder comfortable because its harness, frame sheet, and padding support heavier loads. The pleated front compartment stays slim when empty, expands for a tech pouch, and can accommodate a small jacket.
The included organizer, pen slots, zippered pocket, and elastic mesh pockets let the reviewer keep a complete mobile office in one compartment. The back compartment can open fully on a desk or partially while compressed, providing access without occupying much floor or desk space.
