The reviewer identifies the high price as a potential barrier, while acknowledging that American sourcing and production contribute to the cost. Inside, the reviewer describes the elastic, mesh zippered, and small pockets as useful places for organizing smaller items inside the pack. The laptop compartment includes a false bottom, which the reviewer says prevents the device from contacting the ground when the bag is set down.
The reviewer finds the shoulder straps provide good support when the pack is loaded with gear, although the laptop compartment can become uncomfortable. The reviewer says the full-grain leather accents noticeably elevate the GR1 Heritage’s overall appearance and visual character.
