For access and organization, Carryology highlights the clamshell main opening, an elevated laptop sleeve for machines up to 15 inches, and a concealed back-panel pocket for items such as travel documents. The publisher also reports top and side handles that support hand carry when backpack carry is less appropriate.
The compromises matter most when exterior storage or freestanding stability is important.
