After initial use caused sore shoulders, the reviewer found the ATD2 became comfortable enough for daily commuting after several weeks. The review describes Challenge Sailcloth Ecopak for the exterior and PU-coated nylon with DWR for the lining material. The redesigned stretchy bottle pockets lie flat when empty, while the same material inside creates organizational features with a visibility-enhancing gold color.
The main compartment accommodates daily clothing and lunch items, and its three-sided zipper provides easy access throughout the interior. The rear panel includes sleeves for a 13-inch laptop and a large tablet, but the reviewer notes that larger devices will not fit.
