Although the dedicated flash-drive pocket seems tight enough to retain a drive, the reviewer worries it could be removed without a snap cover. The reviewer explains that bbp bags created the Breathe Sleeve because a sleeve could retain heat and slowly damage a laptop battery. The sleeve closes with a nylon zipper featuring dual rubber pulls, while the black version has a bright gold interior.
The reviewer found that the Medium Breathe Sleeve fit a 15-inch MacBook Pro perfectly during the reported hands-on testing. The reviewer says the vents are most useful when the Breathe Sleeve is the laptop’s only protection, rather than inside another bag.
Reported strengths
- The Breathe Sleeve uses stretchy neoprene and includes a narrow front slot for carrying papers, cables, or a mouse.
- Mesh openings across the sleeve’s back provide vents intended to let heat escape from the laptop’s underside.
- The sleeve closes with a nylon zipper featuring dual rubber pulls, while the black version has a bright gold interior.
Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer warns that storing papers or a magazine behind a warm laptop effectively blocks the sleeve’s ventilation.
