The reviewer found the R1’s top elastic drop pockets helpful for keeping essentials accessible instead of letting them fall to the compartment bottom.
The reviewer says the changing pad’s mesh pocket holds diapers, wipes, and cream, while its padding remains comfortable without becoming cumbersome. The reviewer used the R1’s insulated pouches for food, toys, medicine, and miscellaneous gear, cooling them with ordinary freezer packs.
