Sporrer reports a lightweight design with a ventilated back panel, large stretch-mesh storage, and a floating lid. The lid reportedly makes the nominal 32L capacity more adaptable: gear can be carried between it and the main compartment, helping the pack serve for an overnight. The exterior pockets were described as accommodating a 1L bottle and quick-access clothing.

The main compromises concern carry and versatility. The reviewer says the rigid frame creates awkward unused space around a laptop, while the hip belt’s foam and resting position drew particularly negative comments. He also criticized the short top handle, less convincing clips and cord lock, and an exposed-looking frame detail at the base.

Positives: ventilation, stretch-mesh access, and flexible use of the lid. Tradeoffs: limited everyday versatility, a poorly regarded hip belt, and hardware that did not inspire confidence for rugged environments. These judgments matter most when choosing between hiking-focused use and mixed daily carry.

Reported strengths

  • Reportedly effective ventilation from the tensioned-mesh back panel.
  • Large stretch-mesh pockets for bottles and quick-access layers.
  • Floating lid increases the pack’s practical flexibility for overnight loads.

Reported trade-offs

  • Rigid frame limits versatility and can leave dead space around a laptop.
  • Reviewer found the hip-belt foam flimsy and its unused position awkward.
  • Clips, cord lock, and top carry handle were criticized for confidence and usability.
