The reviewer found the side pockets difficult to use when the main compartment was full because they have no give. The lid pocket provides quick-access storage for items such as a wallet and phone, while its storm flap covers the zipper. The deep side pockets securely hold water bottles and can also carry quick-access items, snacks, hats, or a tripod.
The reviewer found the lid buckles secure yet easy to open, while the drawstring operated simply without unwanted slippage. The white lining helps distinguish items quickly, and the main compartment provides accessible bottom storage without being excessively deep.
