The review records a 19L pack with a 22L overloaded capacity. Carryology describes restrained organization: a flat back pocket for maps, electronics, or a folded rain jacket, plus a small internal zipper pocket for a wallet and keys. The winter attachment system can carry crampons, trekking poles, and an ice axe together, while shoulder-strap and panel webbing accommodate small pouches.
The compromises are closely tied to technical use. The foam-backed panel may feel less breathable in hot conditions, and there are no external side pockets. The reviewer sometimes wanted side straps for carrying a climbing rope. Overloading extends volume but can compromise waterproofness, and the limited color choices have practical implications: white gets dirty quickly, while black can become hot in summer.
Reported strengths
- Useful flat-pocket and small-item organization.
- Winter-gear attachment for crampons, poles, and an ice axe.
- Suitable, according to Carryology, for cold and snowy mountain conditions.
Reported trade-offs
- Limited versatility outside technical mountain use.
- Reduced hot-weather breathability and no external side pockets.
- Overloading can compromise waterproofness; rope attachment otherwise remains unavailable.
Scope and limits
- Historical publisher sample only; current production equivalence, stock and individual fit remain unverified.
- Attributed analysis of one original publisher review; CarryFacts has not performed a hands-on test.
