The three-zone back panel and air channel kept the bag comfortable, but overstuffing made it feel like a football. Two large side pockets easily swallowed a one-litre bottle, and the reviewer also fitted a Kryptonite Evolution chain lock inside one. The left harness pocket held a 145-by-70-millimetre phone and allowed insertion or removal without taking the backpack off.
The waist strap was easily removable, and the reviewer found it unnecessary while walking or cycling, even with substantial weight packed. Because the box-shaped main compartment opens at one end, the reviewer found reaching its bottom difficult without organized packing.
Reported strengths
- The reviewer describes the coated Cordura N330D construction as strongly made, tough, and weather resistant, while expecting years of service.
- Inside the lid, a zipped mesh pocket includes a key loop, while the weatherproof roll-top sleeve accommodated the reviewer's 14-inch Chromebook easily.
