Carryology describes a rigid aluminum chassis paired with leather, giving the notebook a firm writing surface. The spine-mounted pen stayed secure in the contributor’s use, and the wallet includes a refillable pen and notebook. A bottle opener is built in, while separately sold MT02 and MT03 Multi-Tools can add functions such as hex bits, a chisel, and a phone stand.
The tradeoffs are substantial for people who prefer discreet, flexible carry. Ritscher found the wallet somewhat larger than preferred, and the hard frame was uncomfortable in a back pocket when sitting. The pen-cap tip could occasionally press uncomfortably, and the wallet’s bulk is visible in a front pocket. Check: extensive receipts, photos, or cards fall outside the reported use case.
