With the tested suitcase, the pack sat above the roller handle, making luggage difficult to roll and leaving straps and belt exposed. Gusseted side pockets expand for bottles or bulky items yet compress when unused, preserving the pack’s minimalist appearance. The detachable hip belt can clip across the front as a compression strap, adapting its function to lighter or heavier loads.

Clips at each hip-belt strap end secure excess webbing against the belt, preventing loose straps from dangling during use. Mesh beneath the shoulder straps adds some comfort and ventilation, while Duraflex buckles are used throughout the bag.

Reported strengths

  • Reviewers found the rectangular zipper highly convenient, opening the main compartment broadly enough to reveal contents and reposition items easily.
  • The quick-grab pocket is accessible from both outside and inside, allowing retrieval without closing the main compartment first.
  • Gusseted side pockets expand for bottles or bulky items yet compress when unused, preserving the pack’s minimalist appearance.

Reported trade-offs

  • The laptop compartment fits a 15-inch laptop vertically only with difficulty because it extends roughly two-thirds down the pack.
  • With the tested suitcase, the pack sat above the roller handle, making luggage difficult to roll and leaving straps and belt exposed.
  • The shoulder-strap storage is quick but leaves straps hanging, offering limited protection against conveyor belts or armrest snags.
