In Carryology's account, the removable padded compartment offered sufficient daily protection, and its Velcro dividers were easy to adjust. The reviewer's documented load was a Canon 5D MKIII with 50mm, 135mm, and 24-70 lenses. A rear luggage strap was also useful when pairing the bag with a roller.
The main compromises concern expansion and comfort. The nominal 12″ laptop area was described as tight beyond an iPad, while the smaller zippered pocket offered limited protection. A 70-200 can fit, but additional lenses may require stacking. Pangilinan also found the strap padding stiff and the bag somewhat wide for walking. Check: the author's rain confidence was limited to most scenarios rather than heavy storms.
