Without the camera insert, the main compartment is mostly open, offering flexibility but only a single upper zippered pocket. Carrying a laptop and DSLR felt comfortable during testing, although the reviewer noted some sweating on one particularly hot day. The sternum strap uses a hidden rail and clip, giving the reviewer unusually fine control over its position.
The wide, gusseted front pocket opens across much of the bag and provides convenient access to its contents. Three liner pockets, a pen holder, a mesh pocket, and a key clip organize notebooks, documents, small items, and keys.
