Rosengarten highlights several practical positives: the subdued backpack appearance, a configurable insert with removable padded dividers, and a side system that accommodated his small tripod. The bag also includes a laptop compartment and multiple pockets, giving the reviewer distinct places for camera gear, accessories, documents, and electronics.
The compromises become more important when the load is heavy or access must be immediate. Overfilling prevented the zipper from closing, and the reviewer calls it a slow-access design; a later update says hurried camera access led him to use another bag for the storm chase. The padded shoulder straps were comfortable, but the reported roughly 24-pound loaded weight lacked a chest or waist strap. Check: the claimed under-seat fit was not confirmed in the review.
