Organization is the standout. Patterson describes a front quick-access pocket, layered internal admin storage, a mesh area for cables and power bricks, and a separate laptop sleeve with soft lining and added padding. He also liked the flexible bottle pockets, which can accommodate larger bottles while flattening when unused. The review reports comfortable all-day carry, a supportive lumbar pad, and a self-standing structure.
The compromises depend on access and packing style. Both main and laptop compartments open from the top rather than fully clamshell, so upright access is easier. Patterson found the shoulder-strap pocket awkward for a larger torso and tight with a chunky phone case. Check: one-bag business travelers may find the daypack layout short on dedicated clothing, shoe, or toiletry space.
