Because the pack lacks structure, the reviewer notes that bulky contents remain visible inside it when the bag is loaded for use. The sling's broad strap helps distribute carried weight, although its lack of padding may discourage users wanting a softer shoulder setup. The Pakt Stash Packable Sling 4L can be worn across either the front or back, giving the reviewer flexibility.
A large mesh pocket with a key leash provides the sling's main means of securing small items such as dongles. The main compartment includes a liner pocket secured by a small magnetic closure, suitable for a phone, passport, or small tablet.
Reported strengths
- The materials and hardware held up well after the sling fell from a bike while being worn during testing.
- The reviewer found the Pakt Stash Packable Sling 4L easy to fold into its own front pocket, with the strap packed carefully.
- The sling's broad strap helps distribute carried weight, although its lack of padding may discourage users wanting a softer shoulder setup.
Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer says the front pocket offers useful space but little organization beyond a single small loop inside.
- Because the pack lacks structure, the reviewer notes that bulky contents remain visible inside it when the bag is loaded for use.
- The thin handle stays unobtrusive but can dig into the hand after extended carrying, according to the reviewer.
