The reviewer found the front pocket could hold shorter, wider bottles, but taller bottles failed to fit through its opening. The strap was generally comfortable, but the reviewer reported that its lack of padding became noticeable when the sling was overloaded. The strap can be tucked into a rear slide pocket, and the reviewer found the side attachment straps stayed out of the way.
The side straps secure the sling to the Anywhere Duffel, which the reviewer considered useful for keeping it accessible during airport travel. The main compartment’s keyring extends outside the sling, allowing the reviewer to unlock a door without removing the keys.
Reported strengths
- The main compartment uses a YKK zipper and includes mesh and magnetic side pockets, giving gear more organization than the front pocket.
- A clip that shifts between sides lets the reviewer wear the sling on either shoulder, across the front, or across the back.
- The strap can be tucked into a rear slide pocket, and the reviewer found the side attachment straps stayed out of the way.
Reported trade-offs
- The reviewer found the 900D recycled fabric durable, while reporting that its DWR coating handled light rain but not torrential conditions.
- The reviewer found the front pocket could hold shorter, wider bottles, but taller bottles failed to fit through its opening.
