Carryology reports comfortable load distribution across the shoulders and hips during cycling, plus stability on mountain terrain and snow. The reviewer also found the tripod holder secure, the frame balanced when set down, and the compartment layout useful after an initially confusing impression. These observations suit photographers carrying substantial gear in active outdoor settings.
The tradeoffs depend on load and use. The 30L format may be excessive for a smaller mirrorless kit or a 15-mile bike ride, and its rear laptop sleeve did not fit a 15-inch laptop. Airflow was only decent, and the reviewer wished the front pocket had admin-style organization. Carryology describes weather resistance, but cautions against treating the bag as waterproof.
