The reviewer finds the zips substantial but says they do not appear to be YKK zips. A front vertical pocket accommodates power bricks, chargers, or sunglasses without requiring rearrangement when the bag becomes a backpack. The front pocket holds a wallet, phone, keys, and a small notebook, then becomes side access in vertical mode.
A full-height flexible pocket provides drop space for larger items, including a water bottle, when carried vertically. The main compartment includes a laptop sleeve fitting a 15-inch laptop and a tablet pocket sized for a 9.7-inch tablet.
