Reviewed sample: TOM BIHN · Adept Roll-Top Backpack · Tested Ballistic version: 630D ballistic nylon and 200D Halcyon liner; revision unspecified. · 23.6L rolled; 26.5L expanded. Tested Ballistic version: 630D ballistic nylon and 200D Halcyon liner; revision unspecified. A complete CarryFacts specification record is not yet linked.

Its roll-top varies from 23.6L to 26.5L, and a horseshoe front opening reaches the main compartment without unrolling the top, making buried gear easier to reach. The compartment took two packing cubes, a toiletry bag, a jacket and a TOM BIHN case, with room to consider shoes; a mesh pocket held socks and underwear. The review also notes load lifters, exterior quick-access pockets, O-rings and an externally accessed laptop compartment.

Packing the extension high can pull the bag backward: adding shoes after filling it worsened the load, and load lifters only partly corrected it. Larger laptops fit awkwardly through the opening, and the tester found limited clearance below the device. The reviewed sample was Ballistic; the article also mentions lighter Spectron. Updated September 28, 2026; affiliate links disclosed; sample provision and sponsorship unstated. The body says it tested the bag for a week, while the timeline labels a section “2 Weeks of Use,” so duration is inconsistent. CarryFacts did not test it.
