Henderson reports a straightforward interior: two padded, full-length compartments for a laptop and tablet, an open central area, and two smaller front canvas pockets. Positives include the padded separation, a removable non-slip shoulder pad, and a design that encouraged him to carry less.
The compromises are equally practical. One small pocket is open rather than zippered, and the bag omits side or hidden pockets, bottle holders, and a built-in charger. Henderson also says the strap twists during use and needs untwisting before carrying.
The main selection issue is capacity: the Compact worked for his uncased tablet, but he wished he had selected the Full size. The Gadgeteer also says the leather develops prominent scars with use, which may matter to owners who prefer a consistently new-looking bag.
