The reviewer found the waist belt underwhelming, with virtually no padding, while noting that this issue may already have been fixed. The padded shoulder straps and back panel use breathable mesh on their inner surfaces, which the reviewer says reduces heat buildup during wear. Load-lifter and waist-belt adjustments help contour the pack and distribute weight toward the hips, while keepers secure the straps’ slack ends.
The signature 3-Zip design provides multiple access routes, letting users reach different parts of the pack without shifting all its contents. Two tall internal drop-in pockets separate items such as water bottles or extra layers, making those belongings easier to locate inside the pack.
Reported strengths

Reported trade-offs
- At five foot nine, the reviewer could not lower the yoke enough for the belt to meet the waist, which was disappointing.
- The reviewer found the waist belt underwhelming, with virtually no padding, while noting that this issue may already have been fixed.
- From personal experience, the reviewer considers 32 litres insufficient for three days when shelter or extra equipment must accompany clothing and snacks.
